Kabob Boys: Reviews & Ratings
Juicy, delicious tikka and kabob chicken. Perfect grill and seared char on the outside. Mouthwatering white and green sauces. The Chana (chickpeas) were in a delectable brown sauce. Salad and naan were fresh. The whole meal was a great portion size for $15 too. Staff was family run and super friendly. Gotta come back here!
Such a lovely experience here. The food was exceptionally fresh, and the naan made from scratch was a standout. I ordered the chicken tikka and it was cooked beautifully—perfect char with tender, juicy meat and wonderful flavor. The chai was fragrant and comforting, and the baklava was truly the best I’ve ever had: crisp, lightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. A delightful meal all around.
Me and my family came here for dinner last week and the service was exceptional. The cashier, Tuba was very kind and took her time explaining the menu and recommended dishes for us to try. I would definitely recommend the #2 chicken tikka plater, it was deliciously seasoned to perfection. I will be going again soon.
Absolutely the best seekh kabobs in the area. Just absolutely perfect. The only disappointment is they don’t serve any free tea like the Tulip Grill did. Maybe one day ;) Very affordable and wonderful portion. Can split into two meals.
My wife and I went on a Saturday night. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with the smell of amazing spices! This is a big space and well decorated. We were the only in restaurant diners and the space felt very echoey. The nearly empty drink cooler up front was also a bit out of place but I know that they will hopefully have it full. They serve Tractor soft drinks which are a bit higher end. I didn’t realize until after I had already ordered but these look delicious! So onto the food: we ordered the chicken both and beef seehk kabobs. They were served with jasmine rice, Chana (stewed chickpeas), naan and a salad. Both were well seasoned and so well cooked! The chicken was so moist! The beef was nicely seasoned and the sauces they provide(a mint and a Tziki) really enhanced the food. I want to go back and try all their different options! This is such a unique place here in Frederick and I hope you give them a chance!
The food is excellent. Service friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is basic, like a hole-in-the-wall quick place it is. Portions are satisfyingly generous. We'll definitely be back
I ordered beef Sikh kabob meal to go. Oh. My. God. Run to this place. It was sooo good, fresh and authentic. My meal came with 2 kabobs (I could only eat one), flavorful rice, chopped salad and a bean dish. It was all delicious! Generous portions. They said this is their soft opening. I can't wait to go back. Also came with a half naan that is huge. It was so fresh, I wondered if they made it on site. It reminded me of the kind I had in Pakistan with little pockets that bubble up. I set it aside, reheated and slathered it with butter because it was its own delight. The sauces were a yogurt sauce and a green sauce, both excellent. I didn't go to the restaurant before them very much because their white sauce tasted like mayo. The sauces have to be right!!
